10 Reasons I Love Having Cats
1. There's nothing like cat hair stuck beneath the packing tape of your boxed art work to tell the out-of-state recipient "Maggie's an animal lover."
2. Picking an entire spilled bag of cat food out of the washing machine develops my fine motor skills.
3. Watching my cat Violet puke every other day makes me realize how lucky I am to keep all of my meals down.
4. Since my cats always want to be fed at the same time every morning, regardless of daylight savings time or vacation days, I never have to worry about that complicated device others call alarm clocks.
5. When someone walks into my house, sniffs, and says, "Oh, you have cats," I always thank my lucky stars that I never have to wonder when to change the litter box - I know.
6. Because of my cat Moose's neutral colors, his loose fur perfectly disguises any thinning areas on my beige carpet.
7. Unspayed cats - the gift that keeps on giving. You've got to love an animal that can multiply by six by the age of six months, and then do it again two months later . . . and two months after that . . . and two months after that . . .
8. Climbing after my cats to fetch them off the tops of bookshelves leads me to find objects I forgot I had lost. So that's where my cell phone was!
9. I never need to prune my potted plants.
10. And of course, I can never underestimate the value of an animal that will hunt down and catch spiders in the house.
And then carry them to you, still alive, while your back is turned, and deposit them next to your feet. Or better yet, actually, on your feet, so you look down and can praise the cat for how clever they are, while smacking the spider off your leg.
Did I miss any good reasons?

Yup - learning how many much your cat loves you every day
.......and all the different ways you can dispose of all those small birdies and field mice they bring as pressies just to make sure that you know how appreciated you are.
Your 10 reasons made me smile. The main reason I love having cats is that cats are weird--or, you might say that they have interesting personalities. I've never had a boring, non-weird cat.
Have you tried feeding your cats a raw diet? The litter box will stop smelling (really!) and Violet may stop puking. I was sceptical at first but I'm now a believer. You can google "cat raw diet" for more info or feel free to email me (natcat13@gmail.com).
My favorite reason to have cats: Mouse heads.

Yup, that about sums it up.
Oh, a raw diet for cats, what a great idea!
