Weird!!!

My friend and incredible artist Nicole Caulfield just sent me this weird link about right-brain and left-brain. You have to try it. It is . . . very freaky.

Ok, I took the freaky test. From the moment I clicked the model was going Counter Clockwise. Which way did it go for you?
That is so freaky, especially for me, who was branded a lazy, Dreamer, artist.
I made A in College Math etc.

Oh, Maggie this test is like the Tabby Jounal, Should it be on its Back as you painted it! Or should it be standing up (?) as it was sent to me.

Because I have seen te work and know your presentation, it looks funny on my Journal.

I requested that Cafepress send you an apology.
Cafepress does show the work correctly in your store.

Okay, I went and looked at this. I couldn't tell which way she was turning. It looked back and forth to me.

How Terrible Debbie! I do hope you can make decisions. This sounds as if you always sit on the Fence. (Just having good fun!) I do want to know what it means if it only goes back and forth.

she kept changing directions on me...maybe that's why I get confused! Both sides of my brain are at war with eachother of dominance...hummmm

Sherrie
Maybe that is way I can always see both sides of a situation!

I tried it, but don't believe it has anything to do with the will of the viewer. Simply a random, computer generated program. But amusing. :)

I thought so too, Jeanette - but I had my sister and husband looking at it at the same time as me and we all saw three different things. Hers was moving back and forth every rotation, his was going left, and mine was going right!

how cool!!! I see it turning clockwise. but after I was doing some boring computer work, I checked her out again and she was going the other way!! I got excited and she switched back! Also with my periphial vision she goes counter clock wise
btw-I'm right handed and an artist.

What is this, "mine was going right"? In front, the arm goes one way, in back, it goes the other. So which was yours, Maggie - cw or ccw? Huh? Huh?

Yes, I'm crabby. I just spent a good 30 minutes trying to make this woman turn counter clockwise and she won't cooperate. But I'm grateful to be right-brained, as I didn't think I had any brain.

Hey Everyone ! Click on her! Tell me what Happens.

Mine was clockwise...and counter clockwise...but mostly clockwise. I must investigate further though.

My son the computer Guru with Apple. Says it is on a timer. Let me know.
I have now seen it go all ways.

So weird, I totally see it clock-wise (thank god as I am an 'artist' after all ;)) I don't see how it could be seen counter clockwise so I sent it to my totally left brain hubby just to be sure :)

Okay, to everyone e-mailing me and leaving comments that it's on a timer or that the computer just switches it back and forth, that's SOOOO not true! I've now looked at it with two and three people at the same time, looking over each other's shoulders, and it was doing three different things for each of us. The weirdness is really in your brain!

did you click on the image to enlarge it? When I clicked on it. I got it going both ways and I could see stop and turn. It. Was grand !

So this is why I had so many artists suddenly visiting my site :-) Thanks for all the great comments for those of you that left them.

Maggie's absolute right (sorry to the Apple guru ... perhaps he should pick another fruit?), it's not on a timer, and the animation doesn't change in any way. It is an animated GIF file and should anyone wish to, you can pop it open and see the 30-odd frames that make up the animation.

BTW Maggie, great blog. Love your art.
