Twisted Teaser Tuesday: Lament

Tuesday again! Do I need to explain what that means still? I guess I'd better. Here it is: my upcoming novel LAMENT: THE FAERIE QUEEN'S DECEPTION is coming out on Oct 1, which means there are eight more Tuesdays before it comes out. Every Tuesday, I post a scene from the novel, but with animals in the place of the characters to avoid being spoilery.
